Service details.

The final scope depends on the property, existing installation and work required.

When cleaning is useful

Cold radiator bottoms, a temperature difference of more than about 10°C from top to bottom, gurgling or metallic noise, slow warm-up and rising gas bills can all indicate magnetite, limescale or rust inside the system.

Power flushing

Pimlico uses a Kammak PROF-03 DUAL pump to reverse circulation and dislodge deposits from difficult parts of radiators and underfloor circuits, normally without removing the radiators.

Magnetic capture and treatment

MagnaClean2 filters capture iron particles during cleaning, while professional Chemstal chemicals break down accumulated magnetite, limescale and rust.

Compatible systems

The process is suitable for steel, aluminium and cast-iron radiators as well as water-based underfloor heating circuits.

The four-stage process

Thermal performance is measured, the flushing pump is connected, cleaning chemicals are circulated and contaminants are captured, then the system is protected and its final balance is checked.

Longer-term protection

Professional corrosion inhibitor is added at the end of the process to slow new magnetite formation, with protection typically intended to last two to three years under suitable system conditions.

Impeccable service, Robert is very punctual, reliable, serious and fast. He even helped with more than we discussed and refused to be paid more. It's hard to find someone skilled and of character in his field of work, he is both.

Robert is very knowledgeable and very reliable, highly recommend him! He was punctual and organised, and he was able to fix a plumbing issue with our toilet, in an old block of flats built in the 1960s, so with old damaged pipes.

Without any exaggeration, the best experience I have had with an installation team… They changed all the radiators in my apartment, installed a boiler, and fixed some problematic leaks.
